Cox Farms Fall Festival & Fields of Fear Starts This Month

Cox Farms eagerly awaits the start of its fall festival and “Fields of Fear” season later this month.
The D.C.-area’s most famous fall festival will open its gate on Sept. 21 for Preview Weekend, inviting kids to happily descend on a slew of exciting new features added to the 90-acre playground. The most popular slide, the 144-ft-long Dino Slide, had a top-to-bottom makeover, from completely refinishing all six slide lanes to renovating the entry path to the slide.

According to police, two intoxicated Northern Virginia Community College students were arrested in front of the Red Hot & Blue in the City of Fairfax after a car chase originating on the Fairfax campus of GMU.
