Sunrise College Being Offered at Manassas

15 July 2013 No Comment

Starting with the upcoming fall semester, the Manassas campus of Northern Virginia Community College will expand its course schedule with classes that begin at 6:30 a.m.

Associate Dean Heidi Adamson sees many benefits for students.

“Motivated students can squeeze in more classes and still have plenty of time after class for work or play. We also think I-66 commuters will appreciate the early start that gets them back on the road by 8 a.m.,” Adamson said.

Courses offered include General Biology I, General Biology II, Intro to Computing, Intro to Communication, Principles of Macroeconomics, College Composition I, College Composition II, United States History I, Intro to Computer Applications and Concepts, Multimedia Software, Intro to Telecommunications, Math for the Liberal Arts II, Linear Algebra, Aerobic Fitness and Intro to Psychology I.

NOVA schedules classes mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and online to help students fit education into busy lives.

Registration is taking place now for the fall semester that starts Aug. 21.
