Volunteers Needed for Civil War Events

Discover Prince William & Manassas (formerly the Prince William Manassas Convention and Visitors Bureau) is calling on area residents and businesses to be a part of history for the 150th Anniversary Commemorating the Battle of First Manassas/Bull Run July 21 through 24.
Volunteers and sponsors are needed for more than a dozen events across Prince William County over the long weekend including a major reenactment of the Battle of First Manassas/Bull Run, concerts, lectures, films and living history displays.

On May 20, Washington actors Sarah Marshall, Jennifer Mendenhall, Kim Schraf, Craig Wallace, MaryBeth Wise and Deidra Starnes will perform in readings of new plays by favorite Washington playwrights Ari Roth, Norman Allen, Ally Currin, David Emerson Toney, Renee Calarco, Elizabeth Pringle, Pamela Leahigh and Keith Bridges to raise money to send kids to theatre camp.
