The Medical Education Campus of Northern Virginia Community College will hold an event to honor Congressman Gerry Connolly (D-11th) and to thank him for his role in securing a Department of Education grant for NOVA’s Clinical Data Coding & Health Information Management Programs.

The keynote speaker will be Brian Lamb, founder and executive chairman of C-SPAN.

Thanks in part to Kaine’s victory Democrats will retain control of the Senate while Republicans will retain control of the House of Representatives.

Republican Vice Presidential candidate Paul Ryan, who is from Wisconsin, is flying in to Richmond today – Election Day of all days.

Tonight’s rally in Richmond will also include a free concert by Obama-Biden supporter John Mellencamp, previously known as John Cougar Mellencamp.
