Entries for Student Design Competition Can Win Scholarships

To date, more than $90,000 has been awarded to students through the competition. Scholarships totaling $8,500 will be presented as cash awards to the top designs, including $3,000 for First Place, $2,000 for Second Place, $1,000 for Third Place and $2,500 for the Sapa Sustainable Design Scholarship Award.

Governor Signs Educational Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit Legislation

The tax credit is equal to 65 percent of the donation, with an annual cap of $25 million from the state. The legislation goes into effect on July 1.
