Red Sky in the Morning
Red sky at night, sailors’ delight.
Red sky in the morning, sailors take warning.
So the saying goes. The Northern Virginia sky was an overwhelming fuchsia on the morning of Jan. 22, 2016. The first flakes of the mid-Atlantic blizzard started falling five hours later, followed by high winds that kept crews of the power company busy.
