Coordinator of Counseling Dies Unexpectedly

Raymond Jones, III, coordinator of counseling at the Annandale campus, died unexpectedly Sunday afternoon, May 4, 2014, according to an e-mail sent by Dr. Ellen Fancher-Ruiz, Dean of Students, Annandale campus.

Ray was a beloved member of the college community who served as Veteran’s Counselor and Assistant Coordinator for Student Integrity and Conduct before becoming the Coordinator of Counseling in 2013.

Any student wishing to express their condolences may sign banners posted outside of the Career and Transfer Center in the CA building. If you would like to drop off sympathy cards for the family, take them to CG 202 or CA 315 by 4:30 p.m., on Wednesday, May 14.
