Weather permitting, beginning tonight, March 24, lanes on Russell Road, Exit 148 of I-95, will be reduced and temporarily shifted to accommodate bridge repairs.

Russell Road runs underneath I-95 and is a travel route for commuters heading to the Marine Corps Base Quantico Russell Knox Department of Defense building.

Russell Road will be reduced from four to two lanes (one lane in each direction), with the two travel lanes shifted to the northern side of the road. This configuration will be in place for approximately four to five weeks until repairs to the bridge’s girders can be safely completed.

Motorists traveling on Russell Road should expect delays and plan extra travel time.
