Printmaking Students Exhibit at Herndon Gallery, Reception to be Held
Seven printmaking students from Northern Virginia Community College’s Loudoun campus will exhibit their artwork at ArtSpace in Herndon during the holiday season.
The artwork includes etchings, lithographs and linocuts.
The Loudoun students exhibiting are: Marta Campbell, Pam Godfrey, Jarri Hasnain , Jeremy Kunkel, MaryLynne Rabic, Rachel Stone and Brad Vinson. The works are part of the showcase “NOVA Student Printmakers.”
NOVA’s Loudoun campus offers various levels of printmaking classes in its state-of-the-art print shop. The shop has three etching presses, a lithography press and 22 lithography stones. The student works featured at ArtSpace were created in NOVA’s print shop.
An opening reception will be held on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The exhibit will run Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013, through Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014, at ArtSpace. ArtSpace is located at 750 Center Street in Herndon.
There is no cost to attend the opening reception or the exhibit.
