The annual award recognizes one teaching faculty member in the Virginia Community College System who distinctly represents the teaching excellence found at VCCS colleges. This is the second consecutive year that a NOVA faculty member has received this award.

Paintings by Eric Garner will be on display at the Manassas campus of Northern Virginia Community College through Nov. 26. The exhibition is called “The Suburbs.”

A student club at the Manassas Campus of Northern Virginia Community College has adopted a stream located on and around the campus.

Northern Virginia Community College will host a college-wide open house for active-duty service members, veterans and family members on Saturday, Nov. 9.

The newly opened arts and sciences building connects with the Seefeldt Building and is the next phase of a larger expansion plan for the campus.

The conference will take place on the Alexandria campus and examine several issues. Those issues include the impact of the Virginia gubernatorial race on national, state and local politics, such as the 2016 presidential election, and how this election will affect employment opportunities in Virginia.
