Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell delivered remarks at the Grand Opening of the Bon Secours Redskins Training Center in Richmond, Va., earlier this month.

McDonnell was joined at the event by Redskins great Joe Theismann, Mayor of Richmond Dwight C. Jones, members of the General Assembly and community leaders.

According to the governor’s office, recent data show that the team supports 1,832 jobs in the state, directly and indirectly and generates nearly $200 million in economic activity in Virginia while providing $9.8 million annually in state and local tax revenue.
