Police at Northern Virginia Community College in Manassas are investigating a sexual assault that allegedly took place in the college’s parking lot.

Officers on Thursday were notified about the attack, which is said to have happened at the campus’ B1 metered parking lot at 2 p.m., Tuesday, where the victim of the assault had been walking.

The attacker, described as a male with a dark complexion, black hair, crooked teeth, and driving a tan van, got the attention of the victim and started talking to her.

Police are searching for the man described in this case, and ask anyone with information to call 703-764-5000.
