A branch of Suntrust Bank in Bailey’s Crossroads was robbed today at around 12:15 p.m. Bailey’s Crossroads is not far from the Alexandria campus of Northern Virginia Community College.

A man presented a note to a teller demanding cash at the bank located at 5821 Crossroads Center.

The suspect fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of money in an unknown direction. No weapon was shown, and no one was injured.

The man was described as black, approximately 5-feet, 10-inches tall. He appeared to be in his 40s and wearing a mechanic’s outfit.
