Bank Robbery in the Baileys Crossroad Area
Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred near the Alexandria campus of Northern Virginia Community College on Friday, Sept. 23.
Around 10:13 a.m., a man entered the Bank of America located at 5707 Seminary Road, which is in between Columbia Pike and South George Mason Drive. The suspect passed a note to the teller demanding money. The teller complied and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. There were no injuries.
The suspect is described as black, age 35 to 40, around 6 feet tall and wearing a hoodie.
