Men’s Soccer Team Finishes Successful Season
The Northern Virginia Community College men’s soccer team won its final game at Lord Fairfax Community College in Winchester on Oct. 22, with a score of 5-2.
Coach Brian Robertson’s team had a rocky start, losing its first three games, but then won five in a row, then losing to powerful Howard Community College, and finally winning its final game for a fine 6-4 season record, which included two postponements.
Perhaps a measure of its progression is indicated by its having lost to Hagerstown Community College 2-0 in its first game, but then beating them later in the season on their home field, 3-0.
