Brittany Nicholson, a mass communications student at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, has been awarded the 2014 Agnes Cooke Scholarship.
The scholarship is given every year by the Virginia Press Women Foundation. Nicholson was honored at the fall conference of the newly rebranded Virginia Professional Communicators, formerly known as Virginia Press Women.
