Tickets Still Available for Bastille’s Saturday Show

U.K. band Bastille will kick-off its fall tour on Saturday, Oct. 11 at George Mason University’s Patriot Center.

Bad Blood, Bastille’s debut album, entered the albums chart at No. 1 in the U.K., where it closed out 2013 as the biggest selling debut album and the biggest selling digital album. It has sold more than 750,000 units in the U.S. The band, which was named an MTV 2014 “Artist to Watch,” has received a BRIT Award (British Breakthrough Act) and a Woodie Award (Best Cover).

“Pompeii” topped Billboard’s Alternative Songs chart for four straight weeks and the Adult Alternative Songs chart for two weeks. It has spent more than 35 weeks on The Hot 100. The track is certified 4x platinum in Australia and New Zealand, double platinum in the U.S. and Italy, and platinum in the U.K. and Belgium. The video for “Pompeii” has more than 90 million views.

“Bad Blood,” the follow-up single, has also been received well and is climbing the charts.

The Saturday concert is expected to begin at 8 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster.
