Northern Virginia Community College will be closed for winter break from Dec. 20 through Jan. 1. The College will reopen Jan. 2.

Registration for the spring semester will continue online while NOVA is closed. Students can go to nvcc.edu to register for spring classes during the break.

In January, NOVA will be open extra hours to give students additional time to complete registration transactions in person. Offices will stay open until 7:30 p.m. Jan. 7 to 10 and Jan. 14 to 17. In addition, offices will be open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 12. On Jan. 11 and 18, NOVA’s offices will close at 5 p.m.

NOVA offers thousands of classes beginning Jan. 14. Additional classes start March 18.

NOVA’s winter break and extended hours:
Dec. 20 to Jan. 1: College closed
Jan. 7 to 10: 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Jan. 11: 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. (normal hours)
Saturday, Jan. 12: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Jan. 14 to 17: 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Jan. 18: 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. (normal hours)
