Volunteer Opportunities Exist at NOVA

Volunteer Opportunities can be found at Northern Virginia Community College. Volunteering is a great way to meet people, add to your work experience and, most importantly, help people.

The Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society organizes several community service projects including:

– Adopt-a-Block Cleanup Programs
– Hearts and Hammers Home/Landscaping Renovations
– Books for Africa Textbook Drives
– Recycling Projects
– Relay for Life Fundraiser and Rally (American Cancer Society)
– Secret Santa Gift Donations

The Student Government Association and the Student Ambassador Club organize community service projects including:

– Inova Blood Donor Drives
– Canned Food Drives
– Voter Registration Drives
– Nursing Home Visits
