writing on a fresh page

part two in the book of my life

regrets put aside for dreams realized

letting my talent be recognized

not just prophesized

for years i told you I was great

my potential beyond the norm

now i began showing you i’m everything i say

a bit of an idiot savant

my genius less than apparent

some what afraid to use it

but was born to share it

stayed down to earth

fearful to rise

to take my place in the sky

above the average

to go forth into the unknown

but now i see with each success i feel

right at home

i been careless with my gifts

i will no longer sit idle

my future is so bright

it will never be stifled
